This may be one of my favorite podcasts! Rita and I just kept talking and talking. There is so much that we can relate to as women, as humans, as people who use food to cope or deal with feelings and emotions. We see images of what we should look like from a very young age. We are told we need to fit into a certain size, a certain mold, look a certain way, or have a certain number on the scale, but we are all different.
Diet and exercise should be a lifestyle and about being healthy. We touch on so many things about what worked for her, her years of weight loss and what led her to weight loss surgery as well as where she is today mentally and physically. Rita has ben through so much and I am so incredibly proud of her for all she has achieved! You have to listen to this episode. It is really inspiring.
